Dear business associate

As we enter the holiday season we look back at what we believe will turn out to be a solid 2014. In our experience the Danish transactional market has not seen a massive uptick in deal volume. Instead, the main drivers have been a higher level of quality in deals promoted and that cross-border activities have picked up once again. We have also experienced an increased interest in our regulatory practice, especially within renewable energy, anti-bribery and risk management.

At Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen, we will remember 2014 as a very robust year in which we have been a part of more or less all significant Danish M&A deals, representing leading financial sponsors and industry players.

In 2014 we have again had the personal and professional pleasure of working with some of the best and brightest legal minds on the international scene. We have shared assignments and clients with the finest private practitioners on Wall St., in Silicon Valley, London, Shanghai, Frankfurt, Sao Paolo, Stockholm, Dubai, and Tel Aviv, to mention only a few. Such assignments also provide opportunities to work closely with general counsels and other in-house counsels from corporations feeding us with valuable commercial insight and feedback to improve our services. We are proud that such distinguished international colleagues are sharing their business opportunities and outlook with us. The legal profession is international, and we are committed to proactively taking part in the internationalization of our profession.

As a concluding remark, we have again this year decided to donate an amount to Børnenes Kontor (www.boernenes-kontor.dk) which supports Danish children from indigent families.
