At Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen, we are proud to announce that we have once again been placed in Legal500’s rankings within all of our key focus areas.

In 2017, Moalem Weitemeyer Bendtsen was placed as follows;

Banking and Finance - tier 3.

The finance team led by Lennart Meyer Østenfjeld, supported by Dan Moalem and Thomas Weitemeyer, handled acquisition financings for Danish and international clients with great results. The most remarkable one being a task for Polaris Private Equity, in which we were in charge of obtaining DKK432m of financing from Jyske Bank for the acquisition of a Danish IT company.

Capital Markets - tier 2.

In this category, the highly experienced team, consisting of Dan Moalem and Lennart Meyer Østenfjeld, achieved great results in handling equity and debt offerings. The work included the assistance of DSV in connection with its safe harbour share buyback programme.

Commercial, Corporate and M&A - tier 3.

The team is led by the highly appreciated and “sharp” Dan Moalem, who amongst other things advised Polaris on its acquisition of Configit. The work was mainly instructed by private equity clients, in which the team’s expertise resulted in very satisfied clients.

Employment - tier 4.

The “very professional team” is led by Signe Renée West and Pernille Nørkær.

Information Technology - tier 3

The team advises on data protection matters and IT-related M&A. Practice head Pernille Nørkær continues to assist GN Store Nord with a global whistleblower and privacy compliance programme.

Insolvency – tier 3

The well-regarded Thomas Weitemeyer heads the ‘fast and competent’ team, which counts Nordea, Sydbank and Danske Bank among its clients. Weitemeyer has been advising Nomeco on proceedings regarding the Rådhusapoteket bankruptcy.,


Intellectual Property - tier 4

The team is led by is led by Pernille Nørkær, who primarily handles IP litigation for clients in the media and gambling sectors.

Media and entertainment - tier 4

The team acts for clients in the gambling, sports, fashion and music industries. Group head Pernille Nørkær has been assisting FC Nordsjælland with a number of disputes regarding international player transfers and agent agreements.


Real Estate and Construction - tier 3. The team, which primarily advises on transactions, is led by Thomas Weitemeyer.
